Catherine is the Professional Registration Specialist and Technician Commitment project lead at the Royal Society of Chemistry. She supports chemical scientists and technicians to access professional development and recognition opportunities, such as gaining registered status and running an annual technician conference. Catherine started her career as a forensic scientist for a private laboratory, then worked as a forensic science technician in a university teaching lab before joining the RSC in 2019.
